As we are well into New York Fashion Week and fast approaching our own in London, I went couture with this most stunning Vionnet draped leather and jersey-crepe dress in storm blue, still available on THE OUTNET.
Vionnet is a Paris based haute couture label set up in 1912 known for its gorgeous fluid draping, colour block dresses and oversized bows.
Answering to the effortless Parisian elegance, the dress features beautiful draped hook-fastening lamb leather panel gathered in the front and a concealed zip on a side. I love the weight of the the crepe stretchy fabric and the way it flows when on.
I picked my fauvorite Alexander Wang Lovisa embossed black leather pumps to complement the look, still available at matchesfashion.
They are the most stylish and comfortable heels I own, that’s probably why I am a proud owner of these beauties in three different colours including blood orange and peroxide white! These Lovisa pumps are made from embossed back stingray leather and feature a sleek ankle strap, both practical and chic, it will seamlessly take you from season to season.
I simply adore the stiletto high pointed toe with t-strap and a side buckle fastening that transforms this classic style into something utterly modern. You can walk miles in them without blisters!
Talking accessories, I went with the Rupert Sanderson Niella patent cow leather clutch in black and navy.
This matches the dress perfectly and creates a fantastic colour harmony. The bag features a lovely navy leather trim, snap fastening front flap and weighted bar detail. Inside, the internal zipped and patch pockets make the most of the available space. I love the mushroom suede lining as well!
To finish my demure look, I put on these super cool Balenciaga round frame gunmetal tone sunglasses with dark grey lenses.
I love the grey matte finish and slightly curved dropped designer-stamped arms that give off the maverick look.
