On Monday, 15th September I attended the Bloggers Love Fashion Week Gifting Event organised by Danielle from Bloggers Love at The Penthouse on Leicester Square. The event saw both aspiring and established brands showcasing their designs, clothing, handbags, accessories and jewellery lines and as the name of the event suggests, a vast number of giveaways was in place! I got a lovely goodie bag with great hair products from shoprush.
The event attracted so many bloggers and fashionistas promoting their styles and trends too!
As it was a perfect opportunity to dress up I chose this gorgeous ROKSANDA ILINCIC Estes Charteuse T-shirt in Light Yellow I snapped from matchesfashion.com and Marc Jacobs Mirah black leather trousers. I paired them with Emporio Armani grey leather and snake skin pumps and JAEGER quilted leather bag.
The evening was super busy with bloggers and brands alike, chatting away, discussing their collections and taking photos.
I have met so many up-and-coming designers with their eye catching lines. I loved the green-themed silk scarves from BYMY.
The gorgeous print, combined with silky feel and hand rolled edges makes them even more striking.
I liked the laser cut leather edgy clutches by Nadia Minkoff. This very British label set up in 1988 prides themselves on using the finest leathers, innovative techniques and vintage inspired designs with a modern twist.
Nadia’s layered statement necklaces are equally, inspiring and oozing understated charm.
Cataleya London is yet another fabulous bag label, deriving its name from the queen of orchids, the brand was set up by a British Designer, Reeru Rai in 2013. Her beautifully crafted bags exude luxury, femininity and function.
My absolute favourite was this red Italian patent crocodile embossed leather tote.
Fuschia White is also a brand new fashion boutique set up by two sisters, Lubaina and Lamya Karimjee.
What I liked about their collection was pastel hues, shiny PVC and feminine yet simple lines. My ultimate favourite was this powder blue PVC midi skirt.
Jo Morton’s Valour & Valkyrie collection did catch my attention as well! I took liking to her fairy tale themed, vintage inspired, digital print blouses and jewelled jumpers.
I love the “Scandinavian-like” brand name that somehow resonates with its whimsical and enchanting designs.
I love Tinkilove by Maria-Katharina Richters. I met Maria on a few occasions in the past and I am a fan of her fresh and bold designs with classic feminine elements, very wearable yet versatile.
She is also a creative spark behind Capturelove, yet another label she launched retailing exclusive designer caps with imaginative illustrations, creative drawings and intricate designs.
Kisses from Coco is an online fashion boutique with a hefty supply of contemporary, playful yet stylish accessories, clothing, bags and jewellery.
I loved this gorgeous white shirt and feather and crystal – embellished neck piece!
As the only representative of the male fashion market, Suave 101 Apparel, certainly stood out.
My husband, who is also my blog photographer loved his bold and distinctive T-shirt design. Established in 2013 by Jack Simmons, Suave 101 is an urban London brand retailing exclusive and high quality designs aimed at a fashion forward male crowd. Check them out!
There were so many other brands I saw but did not have a chance to speak with including Shibue Couture and Sabella Collection.
I must admit, the event was buzzing with excitement and I had a great time talking to brands and other bloggers!
