Thanks to its associations with warm mulled wine, burgundy feels like the perfect hue for this time of year. Throw in a big helping of grey and you have a colour combo that is quickly becoming a fashionista’s favourite.

Following all the Christmas festivities, January has arrived, and no matter how hard I try to fight it, it is undoubtedly the most depressing month of the year.

Handbags are a girl’s best friends! For me, they are a statement of personality and attitude, a declaration of mood, a weapon in a crowd and a home on the move.
Today I wanted to share with you the up and coming handbag and leather designers I had a pleasure to meet in the designer showrooms at London Fashion Week.
British brand Hemsley London, set up by Jayne Hemsley embodies quality craftsmanship, innovative and directional design tailored to the needs of the modern wearer. She created luxe fashion-led accessories where fashion meets tech for those busy go-getter socialites.
The designer tapped into this idea creating an Italian-leather bag collection with the working girl’s best interests at heart. With her unique designs the backpack is back on trend! From the Mayfair to the Derby, all designs are suede-lined and come with a convenient flap pocket that allow you to use your tablet or I-phone on the go.
And for the ultimate tote ladies, who carry just about everything around, the Hampshire bags are complete with a detachable coin purse (and mirror, and Oyster card holder) for the time when you can’t afford to scrabble through your bag like a lost traveler. How genius is that!
Williams Handmade was founded by award winning Sarah Williams in 2010 and the brand epitomises truly unique, sculptural and timeless leather pieces with each of them handmade in Hertfordshire.
This is an extremely labour intensive process where each piece of leather is being cut by hand and constructed individually using traditional techniques
For me, it is the colours and the unusual sculptural shapes and forms that differentiate Williams handmade from other designers, encouraging you to appreciate the true art of hand craftsmanship.
I loved this hexagonal sculptured clutch back oozing sophistication and wow factor.
The Mayra Fedane London brand remains very close to the concept of nonchalance, spontaneity and elegance.
I loved her structured yet whimsical handbags bursting with colour palettes and edginess where hand weaves and embroideries stand out loud in the high quality leather.
Mayra is a truly talented designers whose lego-enspired techno-pop handbags are an immediate draw!
These were my favourites!
Fleet Ilya is a truly exciting leather label set up with the objective of bridging a high fashion aesthetics and subversive fantasy. I absolutely adored the lilac leather high waist belts and structured backpack that is making a comeback in so many forms and shapes!
Founded by Jasmine, the J D’Cruz brand is a new and exciting British brand, delivering bespoke handmade leather pieces using hand printing and vibrancy of colours as a main tool.
How fabulous are those structured pink and purple print handbags?
Philippine heritage brand ZACARIAS bags are hand woven exclusively by S.C Vizacarra, a company set up in 1925 by Crative Ditrector Rita Nazareno’s grandmother Segundida Cornejo Vizacarra.
Referencing strongly contemporary art, architecture and design, ZACARIAS is a combination of progressive design and the art of hand-weaving.
I particularly liked Dark Helmet bag hand-woven in wicker with adjustable natural leather handle. What a beauty!
Which one is your favourite?

Not only are the shearling coats incredibly cozy and practical but they also exude a certain level of timeless luxury and style.
I must admit, I love shopping out of season. You can certainly get more for your money, especially, when like me – you love luxury brands!
I have chosen to go with this gorgeous Just Cavalli green coat I bought from theOutnet some time ago.
Showcasing the fabulous trademark of Roberto Cavalli, sister line Just Cavalli is a riot of vibrant color, print and ceaseless glamour. Dark green has become one of my favourtite colours and I love the way it is juxtaposed with the black lamb shearling collar and cuffs.
One of the unusual features are the hinged fastenings at the front, a funky alternative to buttons, zips or clip-ons.
When in need of turning up the cool-factor of fashion-forward winter looks, put on those super soft dark green ankle boots from Chloé featuring almond toe and block heel.
I colour blocked with this amazing Alexander Wang Rocketeer glossed-leather satchel I picked up on theOutnet.
There is something so mesmerising about the handbag, I could not stop looking at it when I first got it, admiring the beauty of the design, superb leather quality and the complicated curved lines that very much remind me of the forgotten shape of an accordion.
The bag features one open central section and two tab-fastening side compartments. The satchel is undoubtedly in the list of my top 10 favourite bags to date.
Taking a more sophisticated approach to the classic black leather glove, I accessorised with these beautifully crafted JEAGER pony skin leather gloves that complement the coat and Ted Baker black wool scarf.
I would love to hear your comments!

I am all for exploring new trends and labels and today I wanted to share a new brand I have recently discovered on theOutnet.
Mother of Pearl is a cool British label with rich collaboration-infused collections where silhouettes and detailing stay true to the sports luxe aesthetic the brand is so close to. Expect effortless, easy-to-wear silhouettes with eclectic edge.
Being a fan of leather, I love this Mother of Pearl anthracite animal print calf hair Leona top I picked up on theOutnet sale.
The lightweight leather front, contrasting black satin back panel, and twill trims, make this peplum top a very interesting alternative to cropped jumper or a shirt.
I have teamed it up with Raoul Embossed stretch-jersey leggings-style pants, I also got on theOutnet.
Raoul is yet another label I got to love for its contemporary take on classic wardrobe pieces. Singapore-based Raoul’s refined aesthetic juxtapose bold paneling with strong patterns and neat draping.
I must admit that this Alexander Wang Leather and brushed-twill blazer has become a staple of my heavily leather-laden wardrobe. I picked it up on Yoox sale but it is still available on theOutnet.
The jacket features very quirky leather halterneck vest-effect front with flap pockets and snap-fastenings through the front.
Aiming for colour blocking, I chose these gorgeous Alexander Wang Edie Pumice Grey Cut pumps, still available on Yoox.
Yet again, Wang puts his signature twist on the slingback pump with a side cutout and sharply textured suede in half d’Orsay silhouette. Like all of Alexander Wang’s creations, they are beautifully profiled and comfortable!
What do you think?

On Monday, 3rd November I attended Bloggers Love Hub event organised by Danielle at the celebrity hotspot – Mahiki in London. The event brought together a number of fabulous brands and bloggers.
The event brought together a number of fabulous brands and bloggers. The idea behind the get-together was for the bloggers to chat, exchange tips and meet with up-and-coming brands, of course.
I decided to wear this vibrant green Rokanda Ilinicic skirt and JOSEPH navy cashmere cropped jumper I featured recently on the blog.I teamed the outfit with this 3.1 Phillip Lim Minute clutch Bag in a demure midnight navy and these CHLOÉ calf leather two tone Moccasins. I popped on my favourite Links of London Watch Over Me necklace to finish the look.
There were the familiar faces like Yukimi Yau and Nadja Baxter.
I had a chance to meet Katherine Foot, the founder of GlowBeads. She showcased the most gorgeous sets of necklaces wand bracelets in the most vibrant of colours that glow when light hits them!
Featured in the UK Vogue Magazine, the brand features funky, eye catching and modern pieces of jewellery, perfect for parties, presents and weddings! Check it out!
The central part of the event was the fashion show orchestrated by Eva Cammarata – a womenswear designer who already showcased in New York, London and Paris. Her collection exploded with bold colours and unique textiles, and digital prints.
My favourite piece was the unusual calf-length, strapless print knit dress.
One of the beauty brands I really liked was the Charcoal-Spa. Represented by Claire Hultton, the make offers a fantastic range detoxifying skin products including the salt scrubs, face masks and soaps that cleanse skin removing the daily built-up of impurities. Beautifully packaged, they make a perfect present!
I love leather so D-Jewelsus – up and coming brand was right up my alley. The label offers beautifully crafted leather jewellery & accessory designs and custom-made ones.
I loved the colour blocking trapezoid pieces as well the combination of leather with calf skin. These show stopping designs will certainly get you to stand out from the crowd!
I also had a chance to meet Byron Rawlings from The Blogger Programme – the largest social platforms for bloggers, brands and publishers that facilitates initial contact and collaboration.
Later on I met one of the most amazing and experienced bloggers and U-Tubers – Leanne Lim Walker who was full of good advice for a fairly new blogger like myself. All the tips and feedback were greatly appreciated!
It was fantastic to meet other amazing bloggers including MelonLady, Bumascloset and Dora Fashion Space. Thank you for a lovely chat, ladies!
It was a fab evening and I am now looking forward to meeting new people at the next Bloggers Love Hub event tomorrow!
So I have recently discovered this cocktail cool and modernist London based designer Richard Nicoll and I instantaneously fell in love with his dresses! This color-block Snake-Effect Blue Jacquard Sleeveless Stretch Jersey Dress is the ultimate statement-making piece. I must admit, the indigo-blue is the most intoxicating hue and I love the contrasting snake-effect lilac blue jacquard front pane. The dress features exquisite design detailing including the exposed seams at the back and raw rims. A pair of mules or ankle strap heels and a chic clutch is all you will need.
I teamed up the dress with my favourite Alexander Wang Lovisa blood orange pumps. I love the design so much that I am now a proud owner of these beauties in stingray embossed black and white! I simply adore the stiletto high pointed calfskin toe with t-strap and a side buckle fastening that transforms this classic style into something utterly modern.
Slip into this outfit for a fuss-free, fashion-forward style.
