I find that playing around with different styles is not only immensely enjoyable, but it also makes me scrutinize my fashion limitations. Experimenting with new pieces and trends pushes me out of my comfort zone, and as a result it boosts my confidence, making me completely at ease with everything I wear.
I’m playing Mad Hatter in today’s look, going with a more vintage inspired outfit. I love the idea of a wide brim hat however, I never bought myself a proper one, simply assuming it would be a bit too inconvenient to carry if I decide to take it off! As a part of an experiment to get me into wearing more hats I bought this black Primark felt fedora hat, and I could not have been happier with it!
The pretty vintage-inspired bow makes it easy to wear with a furry winter coat or a short shearling jacket,
Made from soft wool, this wide-brimmed feldora hat is perfect for those chilly Saturday shopping trips or Sunday lunches and at £8, it surely is a foolproof accessory you can’t afford to miss!
I mixed it with this cosy Faux fur collar maxi cardigan, also from Primark.
Funky, stylish and practical with a touch of American retro! I love the way it is complemented by the hat and how unasumingly cool and off-duty it makes the whole outfit look.
Layering is great for winter, so I opted for this sumptuously soft CARVEN Green Tigerintarsia Knitted Sweater I picked up from theOutnet. I love the teal / coral nylon and mohair-blend and tiger stripe design that goes so well with natural tone of the leggings!
These Donna Karan New York Seamed skinny rattan pants are one of the classic body pants, designed with lines and seams that make the difference tracing the silhouette, accentuating the positive through sculpting, shape and structure, also engineered to elongate the leg.
This is what you call a great easy chic look for busy ladies!
I popped on these Sam Edelman Petty Sued Booties I picked up on BrandAlley. With one of the season’s hottest silhouettes, they are on my top 10 perfect flat booties list!
Sam Edelman shoes are defined by a strong eye for fashion so no wonder that after more than 30 years in the industry, he has honed his craft to design shoes that reflect his creative sensibility and confident style. His expressive signature on the insole of his shoes has become an iconic hallmark of quality.
My favourite features are stacked heel and tonal grosgrain piping at the notched top line.
What do you think?
