Wrap me up

I love wrapping myself up in soft and luxurious fabrics that keep the cold at bay and with this beautiful piece, casual wrap up stole is being taken to a whole new level.

Acne Studios Neela dramatic wrap was debuted at the label’s Fall ’14 runway show. this gorgeous monochrome stole is crafted from soft wool-blend and backed in black patent leather. I bought it off NET-A-PORTER, unfortunately it has sold out since then.

When I saw it on-line earlier in a year, I knew I had to have it. This jacquard stole is so unusual featuring a single long sleeve, funnel neck, softly gathered front with a wrap around effect. You simply slip your arm into the single sleeve, securing it at the shoulders with concealed snap fastenings.

It is definitely a bold fashion statement and will surely get you noticed!

I wore Jeager London black wool boucle collarless jacket underneath. You can’t really see its details so I will save it for the next post but it is one of those jackets that fit in seamlessly with almost any outfit. I have been known to wear it from early spring till late autumn months.

I teamed it up with Michael Kors black seamed zipped skinny jeans. I like the combination of black denim and golden zippers.

These stylish MICHAEL KORS jeans definitely add sophisticated versatility to your wardrobe.

I finished the look of with my foolproof L.K. Bennett Selina Mock Croc Leather Court Shoes. Unfortunately they are now sold out everywhere, you might get lucky and hunt them down on Ebay though.

Based on a Shilo classic design, they are exceptionally comfortable for a 4 inch heel! Th famously modern silhouette is reinforced by the fresh take on the classic bow design.

When mohair meets leather

It is this time of the year once more when all you want to do is to wrap up in soft and warm textures not to mention, wool and cashmere are your best friends again! There is something intrinsically comforting about putting on these cozy jumpers in an attempt to stave the cold off and not let the weather get you caught unawares yet again!

I love woolies teamed up with leather so here is my take on how to pull the look off without compromising on comfort. I have invested in this season’s texture with this ultra soft Whistles Kitty Rib Mohair Knit.

What attracted me to the jumper in the first place is this gorgeous soft peach/pink pastel colour that surely brightens my autumn wardrobe. The cute rib eye sleeve fashionable detail makes the overall design even more interesting. You just slip it on and job done.

These lovely See by Chloè burgundy leather pants featuring a scalloped hem and high waist are an absolute winner.  The deep red colour sets them apart from the typical black leather pants.  The high waist works well when you have an hourglass shape.

See by Chloe
is known for the scalloped hem and I have opted for a pair of

With their impeccable design, perfect finish, and perfectly proportioned stiletto heel, these fab high heels embellished with quirky silver tone medallion trim, combine all the essential qualities of the high heel, the quintessence of femininity.

Boutique by Jaeger Leopard print trousers

Dreary weather inevitably dampens my spirits – particularly when the downpour unleashes itself onto my newly blown dry hair – but instead of following the suit and dressing in black and grey, combat the gloom by adding a splash of colour to your outfit.
P1010480On my Paris weekend getaway I took a walk on the wild side of Boutique by Jaeger by wearing these fierce multi-coloured 60-ties inspired Leopard print trousers, still available at Jaeger website at a very reasonable price of £29.
P1010499They are perfectly cropped and  tailored to a very flattering fit and I really like the pure cotton feel and purple/orange hues infused to the print.P1010497

Injecting the colour might not make the sun come out but sporting a fun hue certainly keeps things playful and is the coolest way to combat rainy blues.
P1010500I wore them with a monochrome bow T-shirt from Topshop I bought some time ago. This very simple yet striking top always goes a long way when I just don’t want to try too hard. While, the bow makes it cute and girly, matched with these fabulous trousers it unchains fun and fierce look.
P1010499_2My shoe choice was L.K. Bennett – these Selina Mock Croc high heeled courts are simply gorgeous redefining glamour.
P1010498The utterly modern silhouette is complemented by the fresh interpretation of the classic bow design that just dazzles.

Cocktail Dress Edit #3 Day Birger et Mikkelsen Gathered Silk Dress

This is yet another dress from my Day Birger et Mikkelsen collection. With loose fit it is very easy to wear and accessorise. This Gathered Silk Dress features a front draping and elaborate waist bead detailing. In a must-have now forest green, be an eye catching silhouette at cocktail hour.
I styled it with L.K. Bennett Gracia Pistachio heels.

Cocktail Dress Edit #4 JAEGER bold yellow Crescent dress

I am back to my wardrobe staple brand JAEGER – this time we are talking shift dresses with ladylike charm…
The bold yellow Crescent dress with the cut-out design undoubtedly captures attention. Impeccably tailored, it features a panel detail at the waist and cut-work on the hem. The dress is a statement in itself so don’t over-accessorise. I have teamed it with warm tone burgundy L.K. Bennett patent leather pumps to allow the details to standout.

Carven Tiger intarsia knitted sweater

Recently, I have discovered yet another brand I simply adore – Carven. This French fashion house creates classic wardrobe staples with a chic Parisian twist. It delivers effortless style for every occasion and this Tiger intarsia knitted sweater is no different.
Beautifully ribbed, with teal, coral nylon and mohair-blend, it is cut for a close fit and looks fab on.
Still available on the
I have teamed it up with Pied a Terre PU quilted pencil skirt with double ended side zip panel detailing. The quilted detailing throughout makes this skirt a must have for many seasons to come and a fashion statement in itself.
I have worn it with L.K. BENNETT suede and satin purple pumps to polish the look.

Floral Edit # 1

Floral print is the theme of today – in full bloom for as long as we can remember. Florals are all about having fun with fashion and embracing the joy and romance of spring and perhaps this is why the floral trend is the one that just won’t go away.

I have gone for the feminine Boutique by Jaeger floral Jacquard 60s dress. This simple shift really packs a vintage style punch and it is exactly what you fancy on a hot summer day. It is made from Biba style jacquard fabric which is heavily embellished with a tiny floral design in blues, acid greens & yellows, cut with the 60s mini hemline and high neckline. I love it! I accessorised the dress with MAWI Green oversized stone clip-on earrings, Links of London emerald sterling silver ring and L.K. Bennett “SCRUPLE” patent nude peep toe pumps. They go with pretty much everything!

Floral Edit # 3

JAEGER has the classic floral trousers nailed to a tee. I love the bold print on those Floral Turn Up Trousers by JAEGER.
Cropped to perfection, these silk blend pants are cut to a flattering slim leg fit and while trends are fun, the JAEGER floral trousers will always look chic played out over sleek, contemporary knitwear and tailoring. I teamed it up with lovely DSquared button-down cotton structured shoulder shirt I bought on my last trip to TX Maxx and black stilettos (L.K. BENETTT shilo black pumps) for a stylish weekend outfit .

Leather Edit # 5

There’s been one overwhelming winner for fashion trend of the season in my wardrobe – monochrome. I absolutely adore this eternally chic combination. Monochrome is simple but wearing it requires a bit of forethought. The key is to choose the right monochrome for you, and style it up (but not too much).
This is my take on the look. I have chosen Marc by Marc Jacobs Mirah leather trousers with skinny-leg and a horizontal knee-seam with a top button and zip front fastening. Unfortunately, they sold out on and paired it with ACNE Studios Lupine intarsia wool sweater – now on sale at theoutnet and Gerard Darel Simple black bag.
As I am 5”4 – I have taken the leggings in as originally they were 29”. I like them very fitted ideally above the ankle at 27”.
Finally, a word on footwear. Black and white shoes are an easy update. There is a plethora of styles to choose from but my pick would be these L.K. Bennett Suede Gracia Pistachio Heels.
